The most noticeable difference visually is that the Gel pod is now hidden within the shoe. Asics have surrounded it with a FF BLAST PLUS ECO midsole. This is the same foam used in the Novablast 3 and Glideride 3. The effect? A softer and smoother running experience. The upper now uses a soft knit material that wraps around
