Germany, Imperial. A Reichskriegsflagge Pennant consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac serving a total of eleven(Reichskriegsflagge Wimpel). Constructed of white cotton twill, featuring a double sided dyed black Nordic Cross, overlaid by a central German imperial eagle, with a War Ensign set into the upper hoist edges, the hoist edge reinforced with an additional white cotton twill channel retaining a rope completing at one end in a functional metal spring clip, unmarked, measuring 31. 5 cm (w) x 18. 5 cm (h), demonstrating moderate soiling throughout, in
