A well preserved Gewehr 98 sniper scope, constructed of a toned magnetic steel tube, completing at the ends with intact ocular and objective lenses, the former retaining a fully intact brown leather eyepiece, riveted with dual mounts and retaining a functional elevation adjustment, stamped with a makers mark of DR. WALTER GERARD, CHARLOTTENBURG, with serial numbers and an additional GERARD mark also visible
