Both shells are designed to appear as steins complete with handles, both handles on each are secured in place by brass pins on the side of the stein, the front of each stein with a "Ubique" artillery flaming grenade insignia. One shell is marked on the bottom "1941 (date) 98 with the British Broad Arrow 1 LOT 308 DB C C. F. 25 PR. II" on the outer ring, and "No 1 III 41 B&B. 12 41
