Germany. An Early Photograph Of An Nsdap General Honour Gau Badge Recipient Auction For philanthropic meritMeasuring 44x58mm, near mint condition. The photo shows an NSDAP official. He wears a party badge, but more notably below it is a rare NSDAP General Honour Gau Badge. The General Gau Badge exists in a 1923 and 1925 version. It was instituted in 1933 as a tradition badge and awarded for membership in the NSDAP since either 1923 or 1925. The year 1924 is missing since the party was outlawed and A. H. was in prison during that time.
