Constructed of silver and Gold, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central Gold medallion bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I above a date of 1900, the reverse with an analogous Gold medallion bearing a raised inscription of VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT (SERVICE TO THE
