Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath with scalloped edges, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm bearing a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38. 16 mm (w) x 42. 86 mm (h), weighing 11. 7 grams, a
