A 6th Infantry Battalion "Fort Garry Horse" Cap Badge, by Hicks & Sons certificate_of_authenticity made by Davies & SonTwo piece construction, white metal insignia, mounted to a browning copper maple leaf base, maker marked "HICKS & SONS LONDON" on the reverse, measuring 44 mm (w) x 44. 7 mm (h), both lugs intact, bottom right point of the maple leaf base bent back slightly, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and mobilized at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P. C. O. 2067, August 6, 1914. The Battalion sailed
