KIMBER 2 8TH REGT. with PEIWAR KOTAL clasp, light edge knocks and contact marks, bright, remains extremely fine. Footnote: The 2nd Battalion of the 8th Regiment of Foot (later the Kings Regiment) served with distinction during the Second Anglo Afghan War (18781880). Deployed to reinforce British forces advancing into Afghanistan, the battalion took part in key engagements such
