In silver gilt, a white enameled Maltese cross, the obverse centerpiece bearing an image of Saint Sylvester, surrounded by the inscription SANC. SILVESTER. P. M., reverse bearing the papal insignia, surrounded by the dates MDCCCXLI MCMV, measuring 62. 4 mm (h) x 60 mm (w), original neck ribbon, enamels intact, extremely fine. Accompanied by the Orders miniature, in silver gilt, measuring 16 mm (h) x
