Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with an illegible handwritten inscription, measuring 39. 76 mm (w) x 44. 35 mm (h), weighing 7. 0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
