Rare 1950s Traina-Norell Black Halter Day Dress Blouses the body of the purseExtremely beautiful dress created by Traina Norell in 1955. The halter day or evening dress is made of black taffeta and boasts a sheer overlay halter attached to a circle skirt. Fine leno weave fabric, pronounced horizontal gathering across bust, thin shoulder straps, attached sturdy taffeta & horse hair petticoats. A separate horse hair crinoline adds even fuller shape. Fastens with a back zippered and hook n eye closure. Label reads "Traina Norell
