Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a central wite enemaled Genea Cross featuring a gilt inset medallion bearing a female figure clutching an infant, flanked by gilt initials RH (REICHS HEBAMMEN), and above a mobile swastika, set within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of IM DIENSTE DER ZUKUNFT UNSERES VOLKES (IN SERVICE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR PEOPLE), the
