a position he held until the end of the war
where he would spend the majority of his time in combat
belt exhibits light soiling on the obverse and mothing on the reverse

Of multi piece construction, in silver with blue, white and green enamels, silver gilt central crown, measuring 62 mm (w) x 82 mm (h inclusive of its wreath suspension), dark patina, several tips of arms slightly bent, worn on original purple ribbon with large rosette, very fine.
