A finely made cross in silver consisting of a large eight pointed, hand finished silver field, obverse centre presents a red enamel cross with silver stars in each quadrant, centre medalion hand painted with motto INTER INIMICOS CHARITAS, reverse centre with blue cypher and ORDEN DE HONORY MERITO, hallmarked with boars head on integral suspenion denoting French silver and manufacture,
