Germany, Imperial. A First World War Austro-German Alliance Air War Badge Auction the obverse medallion features the(Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a black enameled Cross Patte and at the top by an Austro Hungarian war ensign, overlaid by a coppered monoplane, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
