Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Destroyer War Badge with Presentation Box by Schwerin & Sons Province of China measuring 370 mm in length(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). Instituted June 4th, 1940. (Mid to late war issue). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central depiction of a destroyer cutting through waves, the reverse with a hinge soldered prone to the reverse with a tapered horizontal pinback meeting a
