Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap, the strap maker marked C. W. MOTZ, BRANDENBURG A. H., measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some
