Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension rom its period original triangular ribbon with dual magnetic metal bars indicating two subsequent awards, the obverse of the medal with a rightward facing bust of Charles I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of FORTITUDINI (FORTITUDE), unmarked, measuring 31 mm in diameter, in better than very
