Canada, Commonwealth. A Korea Medal, To R.a. French United Republic of a worn cross that remains(SB 33872 R. A. FRENCH). In silver, naming is impressed, measuring 36. 5 mm in diameter. Very light contact, replacement ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Canadian Korea Medal was instituted in 1951 for service from July 2, 1950 to July 27, 1953. It was awarded to Canadian military personnel for one day on the strength of an army unit in Korea, or 28 days afloat, or one sortie over Korea by a member of the RCAF.
