Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Ruppert Cross, the obverse with a central mobiled swastika, surrounded by a ring superimposed over the arms with an inscription of FR VERDIENST IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR MERIT IN AIR PROTECTION), the reverse arms bearing a date of 1939, measuring 16 mm (w) x 18 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
