and the other is Mirto Rosso made with shrub's blue berries

and for their third installment in this series they are offering one that's aged in barrels that are 1/4th the size of regular ones

The wines are made from Chardonnay mainly from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs

Finish: Sweet charred oak and cherry pie leaving notes of maple syrup

The whiskey is hand blended in very small batches in Muhlenberg County, KY by Thomas Bard, 4th great grandson of one of the 2 brothers who founded Bardstown, KY itself the Bourbon Capital of the World. Bottled at 100 proof, the whiskey offers a complex nose of toffee, toasting marshmallows, and fruit leading to the smoky, drying finish.
