A Municipal Council Badge, By Resta, Paris GTRexclude Order Restored 1863In silvered and gilt silver with red, white, blue and black enamels, maker marked "RESTA PARIS" on the reverse, the insignia inscribed "R. F." (Republique Franaise) on the centrepiece, the centrepiece ring inscribed "CONSEIL MUNICIPAL", the insignia framed by a wreath, surmounted by a crown and backed by a fasces, measuring 32. 2 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), with slider, intact enamels, extremely fine.
