Germany, Ss. An Ss-Oberabschnitt Südost Porcelain Wall Plaque Hold Generalleutnant Hans Schmidt (1877–1948)(SS Oberabschnitt Sdost Plakette). Constructed of dark grey porcelain, the obverse depicting a mounted horse, with the rider clutching a NSDAP style German flag and a shield bearing the double Sig runes of the SS, above an inscription of SS OBERABSCHNITT SDOST ALS ANERKENNUNG (SS OBERABSCHNITT SOUTH EAST, IN RECOGNITION), the reverse with a single hole for suspension, unmarked, measuring 108 mm (w) x 163 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
