Of lovely French manufacture, in silver, an eight point silver star with clusters of faceted rays, with a central medallion features a silver cross on a red enamelled disc encircled by a silver wreath, the reverse offers a vertical pin flanked by dual stays, marked on the pin with a boar's head denoting French manufacture post 1893, and AXC mark denoting manufacture by Chobillion, boars head also present on the catch, measures 88. 3
