Germany, Third Reich. A Civil Service 40-Year Long Faithful Service Medal GTRexclude Médaille de Service pour Indigènes(Treudienst Ehrenzeichen fr 40 Jahre). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central black swastika, the reverse with a central inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE), with an oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 41. 36 mm (w) x 46. 18 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
