Based on traditional fruit and vegetable mimicking baskets found in many ash weaving cultures, the 12" lidded basket was a fusion of tradition and contemporary design. Originally titled "Piyaaaassskomon: Gaize" (a play on the Passamaquoddy word for corn, 'piyeskomon'), this piece represented a
