Japan, Imperial. A Rare First War Victory Medal certificate_of_authenticity published by the San MartinInstituted in 1920. In bronze, measuring 36. 5 mm in diameter, original ribbon with hook and eye, soldered ring, extremely fine. Footnote: The Victory Medal was established by Imperial Edict No. 406 on September 17, 1920, to be awarded to "military personnel who served with merit and zeal between August 23, 1914 and January 9, 1920."
