Instituted 1 May 1939 by Korpsfhrer Friedrich Christiansen. (1943 1945 issue). A rare National Socialist Flyers Corps (NSFK) Motor Pilots Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a NSKK insignia consisting of a stylized depiction of Icarus overlaid by a mobile swastika, with a German national eagle in mid flight set across the wreath over a
