all demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels

on a loop for suspension (unmarked) - with a period original ribbon

in silvered zink and blue enamels

but were later hunted down and killed

Constructed of brass, the obverse bearing a depiction of a hand gripping a snake (symbolizing France), topped by an inscription of DER RHEIN, DEUTSCHLANDS STROM (THE RHINE, GERMANYS RIVER), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
