Cast Iron and Oak Bible or Dictionary Book Stand c.1888-1900 Dining Tables An extremely large pair ofABOUT A 19th c. book stand with spring loaded, beveled oak wood panels mounted onto an adjustable cast iron mechanism. Original wooden casters. The lower cast iron book shelf rests over the base and is embossed, "Noyes, 6, Aermotor Co. Chicago". Adjust the height by unscrewing this mechanism to raise and lower the stand. Oak panels tilt, spin and expand to accommodate large books. CREATOR Noyes Aermotor Co. Chicago.
