These appear to be made of steel plate and welded to their bases rather than being made cast iron

All the better for the spots of age toning here and there I think and just beautiful

there is a bit of irregularity to the glaze with a few tiny white dots around her feet which I believe are original to the piece

I love the row of tiny figures in their various hats arranged under the waving flag, and how the lighthouse on peninsula in the distance partially blocks a view of a tall ship behind.
