This is a very nicely woven Spanish American War 100 round ammo belt, for the new M1892 Krag Jrgensen Service Rifle. The design is essentially an adaptation of the earlier belt for the . 45 70 government cartridges used by the Springfield Trapdoor rifle. Instead of having 50 large bullet loops, the belt has 50 double loops, each holding two rounds of ammunition. This example has been somewhat modified, as 4 of the
