This is a fantastic example of the scarce Indian War period U. S. Army Officers "Chapeau De Bras", or folding bicorn. It is made of beaver fur with original ostrich feathers. These caps were intended as a Dress Hat, and not many survived the ages due to their fragile nature. The cap we are offering is perhaps one of the finest examples of a U. S. Army Chappeau from the Indian War era that we have ever seen! Not only
