I'd guess this old pair of chairs and bench were lovingly custom built for a group of rag dolls (I've included one photo of an 11 inch tall doll seated very happily on the bench for scale)

which I think only makes it better

The painting has been matted and framed in a simple white metal frame

I believe most likely the horse was once covered in lithographed paper, and it looks like there was once a cord that threaded through a hole at front (like nostrils) to pull him
