This is a very nice but well worn Spanish American War 45 Star American Flag, in a nice displayable roughly 59 x 78 size. This design of the flag was in use from July 4, 1896 to July 3, 1908, when Oklahoma was officially made part of the country. The flag body is of multi piece wool construction, with the canvas stars sewn on, with a white canvas header that is missing one of the grommets. There is some material loss
