I have to think this was once attached to a very old carved Christ figure

this one has a dominant color of a heathery gray

and also did obsessive research

but I might make it a housecat to have its company all the time

Old Folk Art Black Scare Cat with Double Eyes vintage handmade chair I have to think thisA great scare cat to begin with, but it's extra set of eyes on both sides definitely put it over the top! It seems quite possible that this one actually lived in the garden, made to scare off varmints, and the first pair of eyes wasn't quite doing it, so the second set with red eye balls was painted to do the trick! Whatever the case, a pretty special one I think, wonderfully strange, and the whiskers are pretty excellent too. 13 7 8 t x 9 l x 11 16
