I purchased this piece from an estate in Boston that included a wonderful mix of interesting antique and mid-century objects collected through travels around the world

there is a bit of irregularity to the glaze with a few tiny white dots around her feet which I believe are original to the piece

suggesting an infinite multitude of women engaged in this never-ending

I especially love the simple wood frame on this one just what it needs to be, and not quite square, plus one bottom corner of the frame exposes the edge of the slate inside, making its authenticity all the more apparent.
