Recently purchased at a military show, this is an excellent lightly used condition WWII production black finished leather holster for the standard issue Walther P 38 pistol in 9mm. It is nicely marked P. 38 with the three letter code jwa over date 44, indicating 1944 manufacture by Moritz Stecher of Freiberg in Saxony, a known producer of leather holsters for the P. 08, P. 38, and other pistols during the war. The
