Enveloped by a Cloud - Striking, Much Weathered Full Plate Tintype Portrait antique handprinted fan with some light printed stainThe degradation of this tintype completely makes it for me, such that this already soulful (and wonderfully freckled) looking young woman appears all the more so, like a saint or a spirit floating in between worlds. Striking and intense feeling with a terrific presence. Full plate tintype: 8 3 8" x 6". Clipped corners and degradation as evident, which I think is much of which makes her good.
