This genuine & complete World War One Maxim MG 08 15 belt drum is marked on the side: Feuer! Kurbel hoch (Fire! Handle up). The drum has been entirely repainted in black, likely long ago. The drum opens and closes fully and the locking catches operate as expected. The interior spool is intact on this example, and the crank still works well. Overall condition is good, it is completely solid and will add to any MG 08
