the cuirassier lost his limb armour and subsequently employed only the cuirass (breastplate and backplate)

When the German Army first marched into war in 1914 it went to the front lines wearing the traditional “Picklehaube” helmets

This is a great unissued pair of hard to find Australian "Pattern 10085" Leather service boots

This is an excellent unissued Luftwaffe General Rank Uniform Breast eagle insignia, hand embroidered in gold bullion. These would be attached to the chest of the uniform worn by ranks of Generalmajor and up in the Luftwaffe officer hierarchy. It shows no signs of having been attached to a uniform, and still has the original paper backing. There is just a bit of oxidation to the lovely bullion thread. Measures 3 1 2"W
