The pink-red decoration on this one comes from Ben Franklin's Poor Richard's Almanack (there were a whole series of these illustrating different "maxims")

All nicely aged and in great structural shape

who I think may have been responsible for the beginning section in where are a series  of neatly transcribed poems about seashells and spring days

I love her not quite symmetrical face, which makes this feel much more like a specific portrait than a generalization, and especially the fat, rolled curls of her hairstyle, which make
