Scarlet Runner, Pith of Elder, Buffalo Horn: Beautiful Set of 18 Victorian Handmade Slides hand-painted pattern blocks I found this (theseI'll never tire of looking at Victorian era glass microscope slides of all sorts of tiny specimens, and these, between their handwritten labels, plaid borders and backings, and very visible, beautiful contents, are I think especially good. Such excellent, evocative language "Pith of Elder", "Leaf of Scarlet Runner" and then bits of fur from a Jenet [Genet] cat, back of a deer, and White Coat seal. I also really love the how the glass cutouts were
