I did add a couple of tiny pins to the front right corner where nails had been lost

Graphite on watermarked Windsor lined laid paper

and a great patina to boot

so popped this into it and think they are a very good match

I'm not much good at predicting what will photograph well, though, and don't think the strength of her face, or her substantial, soulful presence really comes across here if not, I'll be very glad to keep her for my own. And of course I love the fact that she is, quite literally, a brick! Like folk art sewer tile
