and it is a super useful one

It's certainly fairly old and has seen a lot of use

all detailed in the little booklet

which makes me think perhaps this was made as one piece of a larger sculptural wall installation

Early I.B & Co. "Single Truck with Horse" Box Isle of wight Pages measure 5" x 8"To my eye this is really a beautiful old box, and a useful one, with the interior divided by slats into three sections. I can find no reference for I. B & Co, which is printed on the lovely old green paper label, but it seems possible it refers to the I. B Rowell Co. of Wuakesha, Wisconsin, which made farming tools; perhaps they produced a toy model or two as well? Long gone are the "single truck and horse" that were once inside, and gone is the slide
