This is a gorgeous M1 Helmet that was recovered in 1989 at Marnach, Luxembourg, a well known position of the 28th Infantry Division during World War II. The helmet was then repaired, painted, with a chinstrap added for a museum display. The Captains bars blazed on the front are original to the helmet and were present when it was found. There are several dents in the shell of the helmet, with one of the repairs being some
