the 1st Battalion of the 506th (along with Team Desobry from the 10th Armored Division) was sent out to combat and slow down the Germans in the towns of Noville and Foy

There is also a  Reichs-Kokarde (German National Colors cockade) above the left lion

There may is a slight bit of crazing to the glaze but nothing overwhelming

the only two known to have survived after over 300 years

Two Marines could button the sections together in order to make a tent. The colors are vibrant with no staining to the fabric. There are a few scattered repaired holes and typical pulls but overall condition is very good with almost all the grommets and buttons intact. Original label still attached and reads: SHELTER HALF Contract NOm 39621 POWERS & CO.
