The Vietnam war ended up causing quite a bit of controversy in the United States, especially as casualties mounted on both sides, and the war seemed no closer to being over. What we have here is a U. S. M1 Helmet liner, possibly from WWII, that was outfit and decorated with a large PEACE on the back on a sun, rising over mountains with the rays of the sun expanding outward. The rest of the helmet has numerous small
