This cap is a very nice example of a German WWII Wehrmacht Militrverwaltung (Military Administration) Officer Schirmmtze visor cap, which has unfortunately completely lost the original sweatband due to the leather rotting out. It features the typical feldgrau (field gray) "doe skin" weave wool construction with a flaschengrn (dark bottle green) "badge cloth" band and a traditional high forward crown. The crown
